The warmest welcome I have ever received! the host greeted me with a delicious cup of tea and an amazing lemon-poppyseed cake. the room was incredibly cosy and the bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby! the breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade cinnamon buns. the location of the B&B was perfect, with easy access to key attractions in the area. One more advantage was the beautiful historic house itself, which made me feel like I was in a Jane Austen novel.
To be perfectly honest, there was nothing I disliked about my weekend at this hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy B&B nestled in a peaceful location. the spacious and warm room provided a welcoming retreat from the cold weather. the private, yet pristine bathroom with a refreshing shower was a definite highlight. the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even accommodating our late arrival and early departure. the delicious breakfast options, including a continental spread and a hearty cooked meal, truly set us up for the day.
It would have been helpful to have better signposting from the road.

We were warmly greeted with delicious tea and cake upon arrival, and our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. the beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. the full Scottish breakfast provided in the morning was absolutely delicious. the location of the property was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to ferry ports. We also appreciated the 'boot room' where we could store our coats and boots. we had a wonderful and comfortable experience.
One minor issue was the lack of hanging space in our room. the signposting from the road could be improved, as we had some difficulty finding the property initially.

Kirkland House provided a spacious and comfortable room, complete with a private, impeccably clean bathroom. the location was perfect for exploring Kintyre and accessing ferry ports to Islay and Arran. the highlight of my mornings was the delicious cooked breakfast that set me up for the day ahead. the added convenience of a boot room allowed me to keep my outdoor gear separate from my room. Katerina, the host, was warm and welcoming throughout my stay, making it even more enjoyable. Cons: Nothing 🙌.
